Graduates earn 2,377 degrees, certificates from MCPHS University

About 96.6 percent of the 2,377 degrees and certificates handed out by MCPHS University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Boston conferred 1014 bachelor's degrees and 738 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in pharmacy. Data shows the school gave out 616 doctor's degrees in pharmacy, followed by 316 bachelor's degrees in pharmacy and 286 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The university enrolled 7,064 students for 2017-18, including 3,966 in undergraduate programs and 3,098 in graduate programs.
