41 percent of applicants to Pine Manor College were admitted for fall 2018

At Pine Manor College, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chestnut Hill enrolled 423 students in fall 2018, including 373 in undergraduate and 50 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

56 percent of undergraduates are residents of Massachusetts, and 44 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (21 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (18 percent).

The school admitted 41 percent of the 363 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 42 percent enrolled.
