69 percent of applicants to Bay State College were admitted for fall 2018

At Bay State College, 58 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Boston enrolled 700 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 30.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

91 percent of undergraduates are residents of Massachusetts, and 9 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (44 percent) and Black or African American (25 percent).

The school admitted 69 percent of the 179 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 34 percent enrolled.
