Cost of college went up for all students at Fisher College

Tuition and fees rose 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at Fisher College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts students paid $31,384 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $885 more than the $30,499 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 217 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.7 million and 197 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,662), 1,535 students used grants or scholarships totaling $15.4 million, and 1,163 students took out $7 million in federal student loans.
