Cost of college went up for all students at Emmanuel College

Tuition and fees rose 2.5 percent for 2018-19 at Emmanuel College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts students paid $39,804 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $960 more than the $38,844 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 474 students received grants or scholarships totaling $11 million and 363 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,209), 1,811 students used grants or scholarships totaling $39.3 million, and 1,386 students took out $9.3 million in federal student loans.
