Harvard sophomore Nordic skier Rémi Drolet placed 56th out of more than 150 competitors in the SPC Qualifier while representing Canada at the 42nd FIS Nordic World Ski Championships earlier this month in Oberstdorf, Germany.

He also took 39th and 52nd in two events at the Skiathlon portion of the competition. Drolet anchored his team to a 10th-place finish out of 18 countries in the 4 x 10 km relay.

Finally, the British Columbia native concluded competition on Sunday, March 7 by taking 31st out of the 57-skier field in the 50 km.

It was the third time Oberstdorf hosted the world championships, the event having been held there previously in 1987 and 2005.
