BOSTON – Reigniting their Turnpike Trophy rivalry, the Boston University women's basketball team welcomes Holy Cross to Case Gym on Wednesday (Feb. 15). Opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
The top two teams in the Patriot League standings clash for the first time this season. The Terriers lead the Crusaders by three games with five games left on the schedule. Having already secured a top-four regular season finish, BU can clinch a top-two seed and at least a share of the Patriot League regular season title with a win.
Holy Cross, having lost three of its last five games, is two games clear of Lehigh and Army West Point, who sit third and fourth in the table with 8-5 league records. The Crusaders are 11-3 on the road this year.
The Terriers host their annual American Sign Language Night, in partnership with BU's Programs in Deaf Studies. BU will also host a dedication game for "Morgan's Message," highlighting awareness for student-athlete mental health. For more information about Morgan's Message, click here.
To show appreciation for BU faculty and staff, eligible staff members can receive complimentary admission to the game as part of Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. Click here for more details.
Finally, as part of the Department's City of Boston Weekend promotion, residents of Boston and surrounding neighborhoods can receive complimentary admission to Wednesday's game, as well as other home events from Feb. 15 through Feb. 18. For details, click here.
