A presentation from 2022–2023 Mildred Londa Weisman Fellow Jaimie Baron
Baron is a professor of film studies whose work on documentary, experimental film and video, audiovisual appropriation, and digital media has been published in numerous journals and anthologies. She is writing a monograph that will use filmmaker Shirley Clarke’s life and career to investigate the ways in which American culture and art developed throughout her lifetime, treating her works as both reflections of and participants in these changes.
