The ratio of students to teachers in Public Schools of Brookline District rose by 7.8% in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 6,928 students being taught by 627.4 teachers in Public Schools of Brookline District, which covers schools within Norfolk County and has a main office in Brookline. That's an average of 11 students per teacher in the district during the 2021-22 school year.

In the previous year, Public Schools of Brookline District had 6,891 students and 674.6 teachers on staff.
