Black or African American was the most represented ethnicity among Neighborhood House Charter School District students in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

In total, there were 392 Black or African American students enrolled, accounting for 51.3% of the district's student body.

The number of Black or African American students attending schools in the district decreased 5.1% from the previous school year.

Meanwhile, American Indian or Alaska Native students were the least represented ethnic group within the schools in Neighborhood House Charter School District.

Neighborhood House Charter School District roughly covers schools within Suffolk County, and has a main office in Dorchester.

The total number of students attending the district’s schools grew to 766 over the 2022-23 school year.

Students in Massachusetts are predominantly white, according to state data from 2023-24, representing 53% of the state's student body.

Across the state, Hispanic and Latino students saw the highest high school dropout rates.
