Black or African American was the most represented ethnicity among UP Academy Charter School of Dorchester District students in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

In total, there were 316 Black or African American students enrolled, accounting for 51.4% of the district's student body.

The number of Black or African American students attending schools in the district decreased 8.7% from the previous school year.

Meanwhile, American Indian or Alaska Native students were the least represented ethnic group within the schools in UP Academy Charter School of Dorchester District.
