A mother and son from Massachusetts have been sentenced in federal court for their roles in a drug trafficking organization that distributed counterfeit prescription pills containing fentanyl and methamphetamine. Javier Bello, also known as "Javi," received a 15-year prison sentence followed by five years of supervised release. His mother, Chevon Dorce, was sentenced to nearly two years in prison with an additional three years of supervised release.

Bello had pleaded guilty to charges related to the distribution of more than 400 grams of fentanyl, while Dorce admitted to conspiracy charges involving controlled substances. Court documents revealed that the organization distributed counterfeit oxycodone and Adderall pills in the Lynn area.

The investigation uncovered that Bello directed others to manage drugs on his behalf and used multiple residences as stash locations. During searches conducted on October 25, 2022, law enforcement seized significant quantities of drugs and firearms from various properties linked to Bello's operation.

Several co-conspirators were also implicated and sentenced for their involvement. These included Isaac Clayton, Kion Shepherd, Erick Solis Lopez, Melvin Nieves, and Ortiz—all receiving varying prison terms.

Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy announced the sentences alongside officials from the Drug Enforcement Administration and Massachusetts State Police. The case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces operation aimed at dismantling high-level criminal organizations.

The indictment details are allegations, with remaining defendants presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
